School Works

Half Hour Heroes refers to the partnership CWC has with Elliott Elementary School established with the assistance of the IISD and School Works.  We believe it is imperative that we partner with our local educational system. Thru this partnership, we endeavor to:

• Discern the issues facing the families in our community as well as the faculty in our school system.
• Assist the faculty and families thru student partnerships where adults (Half Hour Heroes) may meet with a student once a week for one half hour dedicated to reading!
• Provide encouragement as we go alongside the faculty and families to offer other means of support where needed.
